Sludge Sumo privacy policy

Effective (2026-10-04)

In short: Sludge Sumo has no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. The only thing you give it is the display name you type, which the other players in your room can see. The game server keeps it only in memory while your room is open.

This policy covers Sludge Sumo, the multiplayer browser game. It is made and run by Razaki Games (“we”, “us”). You can reach us at support@razakigames.com. The website and our other games have their own policies, linked from the website’s privacy page.

What the game receives

When you create or join a room, your browser connects to the game’s server and sends:

The server shares your name and your ball’s moves with the other players in the same room, and nothing else. There is no chat, voice or video. You can type any name: we suggest not using your full name.

A room lives in the server’s memory while players are connected, and it is gone when it closes, for example after 15 minutes without activity. We do not keep names, rooms or match results.

What stays on your device

The game saves three small settings in your browser’s local storage: the name you used last, and whether the music and the sound are on. They never leave your device, except that the name is sent when you join a room as described above. Clearing your browser’s site data for the game deletes them.

Other companies the game’s page contacts

To start, the game’s page asks two public services for files: Google Fonts, for its lettering, and jsDelivr, for the three.js 3D library. Your browser contacts them directly, so they see your IP address, your browser type and the address of the page, under their own policies (Google, jsDelivr). We do not control these services and receive nothing from them.

Hosting and server logs

The game is hosted by Cloudflare. Like almost every web host, Cloudflare keeps standard request logs when a page or file is requested: for example your IP address, the address requested, the time, and your browser type. Cloudflare uses these to deliver the service, keep it secure and prevent abuse, under Cloudflare’s own privacy policy. We do not use these logs to identify or follow individual players or visitors.

If you email us

If you write to support@razakigames.com, we receive your email address and what you tell us, and we use them only to answer you and to fix problems. Mail to our addresses is forwarded through Cloudflare Email Routing to a private inbox. We will delete a conversation if you ask us to.

Children

Sludge Sumo does not knowingly collect data from children. It has no accounts, chat, ads or tracking. Other players in a room can see the name you choose, so younger players should use a nickname and play with people they know.

Your rights

We hold no personal data about players, so there is nothing to access or correct. If you have emailed us, you may ask what we hold, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to our use of it. If you live in the UK or EU, you also have the right to complain to your data protection authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office).

Changes to this policy

If this ever changes, for example if we add accounts, chat, ads or analytics, we will update this page and its effective date before the change reaches players. The current version is always at razakigames.com/sludge-sumo/privacy.
